Access the Management Console (iKVM/IPMI)

This Guide Details the Usage of the KVM/Management Interfaces of the Dedicated Servers!

=====>>Requirements

When you are Granted Access to the Management-Access Service, you will be issued:

  • Management Access URL
  • User/Pass for the Access_Host
  • User/Pass for the IPMI of your Server

The current Images are currently available on the Image_Server:

  • CentOS-8.2.2004-x86_64-boot.iso
  • CentOS-8.2.2004-x86_64-minimal.iso
  • debian-10.4.0-amd64-netinst.iso
  • FreeBSD-12.1-RELEASE-amd64-disc1.iso
  • grml64-full_2020.06.iso
  • mfsbsd-12.1-RELEASE-amd64.iso
  • mfsbsd-se-12.1-RELEASE-amd64.iso
  • ubuntu-20.04-live-server-amd64.iso
  • CentOS-7-x86_64-Minimal-2003.iso
  • CentOS-7-x86_64-NetInstall-2003.iso
  • CentOS-8.2.2004-x86_64-boot.iso
  • CentOS-8.2.2004-x86_64-minimal.iso

=====>>Accessing the Panel

  • Open the Management URL with the Browser

Addressbar for Management GW

  • Enter your User/Pass for the Access_Host

Management Access Host Login

  • Login to the IPMI Interface

ipmi login

  • Select an Image from the List+Mount as Shown

Select Virtual Media

Mount Virtual Media

  • Access the HTML5 KVM (JAVA is NOT SUPPORTED currently!)

  • Please don't forget to un-mount the image after you are done!
